Biography
Dr. Abdullah Al Shukaili is the Head of Management Department and an Assistant Professor at the College of Economics, Management, and Information Systems, University of Nizwa, Oman. He is also the Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship Centre and the research team leader for the Oman Global Entrepreneurship Monitor project. He received his PhD from University of Deusto and Comillas Pontifical University, Spain. He is supporting students to establish their start-ups and he has several initiatives to promote the culture of the entrepreneurship at the university.
His research interests are in entrepreneurship, innovation, SMEs, entrepreneurial ecosystem and the knowledge commercialization. He published his research papers in refereed scientific journals concerned with entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprises including the Journal of Public Affairs; International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business; Journal of Science and Technology Policy Management and Journal for Global Business Advancement.
