Description
Imad Elimairi is a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He is a Sudanese Board certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and the immediate-past Dental Dean at The National Ribat University and Hospital. He is a professor of Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry and Hospital, where he teaches and practices. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral Medicine and a Fellow at The Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Glasgow, and England. Elimairi obtained his dental degree from University of Khartoum, Sudan and trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Pathology at The Eastman Dental Institute, and The Royal London Hospital, University of London in UK. Upon completion of the residency and practice, Imad pursued further fellowship training in both Oral Medicine and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at The American Academy of Oral Medicine and The Royal Colleges of Surgeons (Edinburgh Glasgow, and England) respectively. He currently serves as President of The African Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AfAOMS) and member of the Executive Board of Directors of IAOMS. He is the current President of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the immediate - past President of the Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Forensic Odontology at The Sudan Medical Specialization Board (SMSB). He is an examiner for the Sudan Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a visiting professor to the City of London Dental School UK.
