Ms. Aldana Zainal is a young, bright Qatari Women. She has lived in Paris for 19 years, since the age of 2. Being a daughter of a top diplomat of the State of Qatar, Ms. Zainal was exposed to multicultural, multilingual environments since childhood. She is fluent in three languages: Arabic, English and French. Her father was the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to UNESCO, which has fostered her love for sustainable development since a very young age. She has always felt the need to be an activist as a youth in this field. During her studies in the International School of Paris, Aldana has organized with her peers two successful Sustainable Development projects in Ghana and Costa Rica, where they worked locally alongside high schools for a month, to have students help students in the most socially, economically and environmentally conscious way. She then went on to graduate from School of Oriental and African Studies – University of London, with a Bachelors Degree in Politics and International Relations while maintaining a scholarship from Qatar Airways. She is now part of the Aeropolitical and Corporate Affairs Department at Qatar Airways. She hopes to bring new perspectives to the panel from her work in aviation sector as well as her own past experiences as a go-getter young lady from Doha, Qatar.
