Description
Jamal Al-Akkad after an exciting and challenging decade as an entrepreneur from 1980s to 1990s, he took different paths working on several interesting and challenging assignments. He decided to revert to entrepreneurship and is currently an investor in SMEs in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), consultant and mentor in entrepreneurship, SMEs development and IP commercialisation he also delivers lectures in entrepreneurship and Ideation mind mapping. Jamal studied at King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (Saudi Arabia), University of Liverpool and Durham University (UK) for his PhD. He currently is working for Waed, Aramco. Waed is the national entrepreneurship centre in the Kingdom.
