Description
Dr. Omer Gibreel is currently an Assistant Professor of Management Information System at the College of Business Administration, Gulf University for Science & Technology, Kuwait. Prior to GUST, he was an Assistant Professor (National University), Lecturer (Khartoum University) a Mentor for the Clinton Foundation (CGIU) in the development of sustainable design and systems. he is a holder of a Doctorate of Philosophy in the area of Technology management, economic and policy and a master's degree in Information systems from Seoul National University (SNU) in the Republic of Korea. He is a holder of bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Engineering and Business Administration from Korea University. Omer's research interest includes Technology Management and Innovation, Frugal Innovations and Entrepreneurship, Inclusive development, Sustainable Designs, Information and Communication Technology for Development, Financial inclusion, Social Commerce, Electronic Commerce and E-participation in emerging markets.
