Description
Dr. Sara Lavinia a consultant in public health, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Public Health. She is a strong advocate for public health and a professional leader in Health System Strengthening and Reform. Her work in the public health field to improve health equity and advocating for the health of vulnerable populations was remarkable. She distinguished herself during the COVID pandemic implementing a robust system for control of the disease in the White Nile State. She has a strong passion for improving people’s lives in rural areas and concentrated on strengthening the primary health care system as a strategic priority to achieve universal health coverage.
Dr. Sara Lavinia is also a strong advocator for women empowerment and has been working with females to improve their Civic participation and promote gender equity. Besides her public health job, she is a dermatologist working to treat patients and concentrating on counseling patients with chronic skin diseases.
