Yousra Elzaki (Sudan)

Yousra is a performance driven environmental engineer with experience in the field of agricultural-based environmental engineering and WASH services. Yousra holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, that was obtained on September, 2017. She graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Khartoum, majoring in Agricultural Engineering. She held a lecturer position in the same department from which she graduated, since 2017. She is an Affiliate Member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), and a Graduate Member of The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM). Yousra held an environmental consultant role on agricultural and animal production services, solid waste management strategies, and water reuse for agriculture. Ms. Elzaki is enthusiastic about sustainable development and process design that contribute in solving environmental problems. She is interested in advocacy and aims to link academia and professional expertise to lead action on environmental issues.
